The trend towards digitalisation in the electricity industry is continuing, particularly in smart metering and the development of new business models. At the same time, many companies have some catching up to do in areas such as strategy, process efficiency and implementation of minimum ICT standards. A survey highlights the positive developments, but also the challenges.
