Swiss energy suppliers are facing the challenge of implementing the Energy Strategy 2050. This is putting particular pressure on distribution grids. By utilising existing infrastructure and new opportunities such as grid monitoring and flexibility management, it is possible to optimise the grid, increase grid stability and avoid grid expansion.
