The transformation of the Swiss energy system envisaged in Energy Strategy 2050 is based on the electrification of society with the help of intermittent and decentralised systems for generating renewable electricity. Intelligent electromobility solutions play an important role in balancing electricity supply and demand. As part of the SunnYparc pilot and demonstration project, numerous technical, economic and regulatory challenges are being analysed.
